Dog Walking
Dogs are walked in small groups for a 40 minute walk. The time your dog is out of the house will be longer as I need to allow for collection and drop off times.
Whilst out on our walk I always carry with me a first aid kit, mobile phone, spare leads and a huge supply of poo bags.
My standard practice is to keep your dog on a lead until he/she knows me, then if you have given signed permission that I can let your dog off the lead then we go to off lead walks. For your dogs safety and my sanity if your dog runs out of sight or does not come back when called he/she will be kept on a long line, that way they still have some freedom.
On finishing our walk the dogs are offered a drink. If it's a rainy day they get a good towel off.
Transporting your dog
The dogs are transported in a purpose bought van. The van is partially caged so the dogs have their own space but are also safe during transit. The van and cage have been fitted with rubber mats, which are heavy duty and also easy to keep clean. Regular steam cleaning keeps the van clean and reduces any doggie odours. On board is always a supply of water, clean towels and spare leads.
Please note – no client keys are ever left in the vehicle.
